In the fall our compotsition and design class took a trip to denmin island to visit and take pictures at the peircys wonderful farm. There was all kinds of old machinery and barns and even a feild full of friendly cows.
At the beginning of the course our class met up for a night shoot downtown courtenay area to take pictures of different types of lighting sources, we used everything from flashlights to sparklers to lights on cars. Altough it was freezing that night we had alot of fun and took some pretty groovey pictures.
In our product photography class we took a day trip to the Tria Culinary Studio in Comox Valley BC to take pictures of the owner Kathy Jerrit and her lovley food dishes. And at the end of the day we even got to enjoy a meal ourself yumm!
For our portrait class we were learning how to take pictures on high key background(white). Robin Conrad brought her beautiful children in for us to photograph, had so much fun with these guys and got some great shots of the little guys.
My friend Shaelysse and i got together for an evening photoshoot on low key. We had lots of fun and for props used a white sheet and also some peacock feathers!
